Founded in 1982 and based in Glendale, this local treasure is a leading producer of belly dance and
traditional Middle Eastern music, amassing a catalog of the largest selection owned by a single
label, many of which are recorded by Hollywood Music Center in the Middle East. Owners Movses
Panossian and his son, Mher, search the globe to bring their customers some of the best artists
and composers in world music today. They also produce performance and instructional DVDs
featuring many of the premier and up and coming stars of belly dance, including local lovelies Zahra
Zuhair, Jillina, Aubre, Tamra-henna and many, many others.
They specialize in the worldwide sale of Middle Eastern CD and DVD titles, providing inventory to
record stores across the nation and more than 40 other countries.
